Chloe joined Niall O’Kane Optometrists in 2020, having trained as a Dispensing Optician before qualifying as an Optometrist in 2013. She holds postgraduate qualifications in Glaucoma and Independent Prescribing, with a strong interest in technological innovations in the industry and using advanced diagnostic technology for early detection of eye disease.

Outside work, Chloe enjoys interior design and travelling with her family.

Faye Macaulay – Specialist Optometrist

Faye qualified as an Optometrist in 2019 and joined the practice in 2021. She is pursuing Independent Prescribing after being awarded a bursary in recognition for her dedication to providing emergency eye care in the community. Faye runs the contact lens clinics and has a special interest in dry eye and ocular surface disease, tailoring care to each patient.

Outside work, she’s an avid gamer and huge Alice in Wonderland fan.

"Working at Niall O’Kane has shown me a wide range of pathology not usually seen in other high street opticians. I enjoy using our specialist equipment to manage patients within the community."

Madeline Elliott – Dispensing Optician

Madeline joined the team in 2021 and has a specialist interest in therapeutic lenses for visual stress and runs the Colorimetry clinic. She is also the dedicated practice ocular hygienist and performs blephex clinics on site.

Outside work, Madeline enjoys travelling, especially to Italy, and crochet.

"I get so much joy from carrying out Colorimetry with my patients and seeing their reaction when they collect their new spectacles."

Dalvir has been part of the practice for over a decade. She is the dedicated low vision advisor, supporting patients with magnifiers and protective eyewear. Dalvir is known for her warm and positive manner, making patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Outside work, she enjoys family time and true crime series.

"This practice is my second home, and it is so rewarding helping my patients to see as clearly as they can."

Oliver Pettett – Dispensing Optician

Oliver joined in November 2025, with over five years’ experience working in Independent Opticians. He specialises in bespoke lifestyle, varifocal, and occupational lenses and acts as the technical lead in the dispensing team.

Outside work, he enjoys family time, Arsenal matches, gaming, and sci-fi series.

Lisa Durrant – Receptionist

Lisa has been with the practice for over 20 years, serving as the most experienced pre-screener and first point of contact at the front of house. She guides patients through services with her friendly, reassuring manner.

Outside work, Lisa enjoys live music and listening to Arctic Monkeys and Blur.

"The equipment has evolved so much since I joined back in the 90s, and it’s reassuring to offer our patients access to hospital-grade equipment when they are in need."

Erin Smith – Optical Advisor

Erin joined in September 2025 and welcomes patients at the front desk. She brings personalised care and creative flair from her background in the art museum sector, helping make the practice inviting and enjoyable.

Outside work, she continues volunteering in the arts.

"I love helping to create a warm and inviting space for our patients while making sure they feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door."
